They made it cheaper to purcahses battle pass tiers in the last few days of the season but it was never brought back during Season 3 for example, and wont ever be available again. once Season 2 ended, you could no longer get the Black Knight skin. I am fairly sure your information is wrong. Same with any item from Season 2 and 3 battle pass. So Season 1 skins bought from the season 1 season shop, it has been confirmed, will never be sold again, and rightly so.

It isn't about season 1, Halloween was just the first event since fortnite's release that happened to fall in season 1. The only things that have been specifically labelled as exclusive are the battle pass items. Nothing about epics approach to skins suggests that they will decide to keep them exclusive.
